Product Information
Redwood is a good wood for your bridge but it will need care.
Redwood will need to be treated with a water protectant every couple
of years to help prevent it from decay.
Our hardwoods are virtually maintenance free! Our hardwoods
have an estimated 25 year life span with no maintenance. They
will naturally weather to a beautiful silver-grey patina.
Our hardwoods are all kiln dried for better stability and less
       checking.
•    They are 5-8 times harder than redwood and cedar.
They are 10 times stronger than composite decking material.
There are no chemical treatments of the wood. They are
       completely safe for backyard environments.
•    They meet the class A fire rating requirements.
All of our hardwoods are rated in the most durable category of
       all wood species worldwide.

The number one cause of loss of forest land in the Amazon Basin is
burning to create pasture lands for the raising of cattle. In order to
maintain the Amazon for future generations it is important to bring value
to the forest. The responsible use of select cut techniques in a broad
range of species will help preserve the Amazon for future generations by
allowing local people to make a living in the forest rather than destroying
it for the raising of cattle. People do not destroy that which sustains
them.
